why not let your boyfriend plan it , if he is the one who wants it ?

I like the restaurant plan. You could select a site in a chat with your groom to be. Families are different in the celebration of events. Just speaking personally, I would select a reasonably priced restaurant which features food and drink that is unique to your residential area. Keeping in mind the ethnic choices of your future in-laws. It is a small compromise to the original plan to avoid a celebration. But, compromise is a part of the relationship. Good luck.

Since you guys are getting hitched in Vegas, I think that a restaurant would be a great choice for you. You would need to call the establishment you would want it at (personally I’d go with a nice sit down one) and see if they have like a party/banquet room that you could use. Involve your fiance in anyway possible, because believe it or not, some guys are even more excited than the females to plan wedding type events. I know my fiance is.

    Hope I helped!!

Why not get married in Las Vegas and have the reception there, too? Hotel rooms are cheap compared to California. My husband and I got married at the Stratosphere tower, and we invited our immediate families, a handful of friends, and their families, in total about 40 people. It was fun and there was plenty to do. The Stratosphere provided a chapel, officiant, music, flowers, photographer, catering, and a banquet room. It was super easy to plan.

I can guarantee that 100% of your friends/family would love to come to Vegas to celebrate your wedding!

You’d be surprised how inexpensive it can be, choose a small chapel and have your reception at someplace like Cheeseburger Las Vegas (in Planet Hollywood). It’s laid back and fun, and as little as 15 people can have a great party there. We DJ there almost every week and it’s always a great party!

Before/after the ceremony you can do photography with the vendor of your choice, and your guests can play at the casinos, go to shows, etc.
